A Young Woman Deals With Advanced Breast Cancer

When you're 31, with a four-year-old child and a husband you love, how do you cope with a difficult diagnosis and continuing setbacks? Anquoinette Williams talked with me about her challenges, fears and hopes, to connect with other women who have a similar diagnosis and draw strength by sharing experiences with them.

I often write articles and other projects for Living Beyond Breast Cancer (lbbc.org), a wonderful non-profit organization that offers support and education to women affected by breast cancer.

Among the work I've done for LBBC: Two 40-page educational guides--one on understanding lymphedema, the other on understanding what's involved in taking part in a clinical trial; articles for their Insight newsletter on nutrition, exercise and bone health; profiles for the website and other projects.
