Guide to Understanding Lymphedema

Through first-person experiences, medical insight and research findings, this guide builds awareness about lymphedema, a serious side effect of breast cancer treatment. The guide details risks, symptoms, ways to prevent lymphedema, what to do should the condition occur, and where to go to find support.

I research and write these guides as part of a series published by Living Beyond Breast Cancer. For each guide project, I develop, interview and consult with review committees of healthcare professionals as well as women affected by breast cancer.
